Events & Student Engagement: Annual Sports Day

  1. Celebrating Fitness and Sportsmanship

    Held with great enthusiasm and participation, the Annual Sports Day celebrates the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and perseverance. The event includes a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports activities designed to engage students from all academic years, as well as faculty and non-teaching staff.

    • Outdoor Events: Track and field races, long jump, shot put, tug of war, cricket, football, and volleyball.
    • Indoor Events: Chess, carrom, table tennis, and badminton tournaments.

    The Sports Day is structured to ensure inclusive participation from all segments of the NMCH community:

    • Students: Competitions are organized across batches and courses, promoting inter-batch engagement and team spirit.
    • Faculty & Staff: Special events are held for faculty and administrative staff, enhancing interpersonal relationships beyond the classroom.
    • Gender-Inclusive Activities: Equal opportunities are provided for both male and female participants in all categories.

    The event is coordinated by the Student Union and Sports Committee, with guidance from faculty advisors. From pre-event training sessions to final matches, every aspect is meticulously planned to ensure smooth execution and maximum participation.

    • Opening Ceremony: Featuring a march-past, torch lighting, and motivational speeches by the Principal and Chief Guest.
    • Closing Ceremony: Includes prize distribution, cultural performances, and acknowledgment of outstanding athletes and volunteers.

A truly inspiring inauguration of the Annual Sports Meet at the 57th College Foundation Day, NMCH. Heartfelt congratulations to Principal Madam, Superintendent Madam, and Team CFD. Heartiest congratulations to the Sports Committee and all involved for such a vibrant beginning. Special appreciation to Dr. Santosh Sir and Dr. Mukul for their dedicated efforts. Wishing great energy, sportsmanship, and success ahead.

The indoor games of the were inaugurated by Principal NMCH in the college campus auditorium on 16th March 2026. It was attended by many teachers from various departments. Games like table tennis carrom board chess Ludo andcards were included. The principal and teachers played a game of carrom with the students to encourage them.

Nutan Chhatra Abhinandan to welcome the students of the 2025 batch was held in the lecture theatre 1 of Nalanda Medical College, and was organised by the National Medicos Organisation. It was attended by teachers from varios departments students from different batches including batch of 2025. The ceremony was inaugurated by Health Minister Mr Mangal Pandey Ji and a Baudhik lecture by Dr Mohan Singh was delivered to the students. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the principal.
